Why a Scalp Serum?
Most hair-care products focus on the visible hair strand. Yet the hair strand itself has no metabolic activity; the hair fiber is produced in the follicle within the scalp. A healthy scalp contains approximately 100,000 hair follicles, with around 85–90% in the active growth phase.
That is why at Mirissa Lab, we focus on where hair begins: the scalp. We chose the Mirissa Lab Night Care Scalp Serum format to support sebum balance, moisture, barrier care and the environment around the hair roots within the same routine. Care aimed at stronger, fuller-looking hair starts not only by coating the strands, but by providing consistent, targeted scalp care.
Why Peptide Technology?
If hair strands are becoming thinner, weaker and losing volume, caring only for the outer surface of the hair may not be enough. One important factor affecting the appearance of hair is the scalp environment where the hair roots are located.
That is why we specifically selected the peptides Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 for our serum. Peptides are small structures made from amino acids and are used in cosmetic formulas as targeted care actives. Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is used to support a stronger, more resilient hair appearance, while Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 is used to support the care environment around the hair root and help promote a fuller, denser-looking appearance.

What's Missing From Scalp Care?
Applying active ingredients to the scalp is not enough on its own. Creating an environment that supports the scalp's moisture, lipid balance and comfort is also an important part of consistent care.
That is why Mirissa Lab serum includes not only peptides, but also complementary scalp-care ingredients such as Squalane, Allantoin and Panthenol. Squalane provides lightweight care that supports the scalp's lipid structure, while Panthenol supports moisture and comfort and Allantoin supports soothing care.
The serum's leave-in micro-emulsion format allows actives with different properties to be applied to the scalp in a lightweight, homogeneous formula. Because it is not rinsed off after application, care does not end with the shower.

Is Mirissa serum really leave-in?
Yes. Biotech Night Care Serum is a leave-in care product. It remains on the scalp after application and does not need to be rinsed out.
It says night serum. Can I only use it at night?
No. The product was developed to fit a nighttime care routine, but it does not have to be used only at night. It can also be applied to a clean scalp during the day.
Should I apply it after showering or to a dry scalp?
Either is suitable. It can be applied when the scalp is slightly damp after showering or when completely dry. The important point is that the serum reaches the scalp directly.
Will Mirissa serum make my roots oily?
Its lightweight, leave-in formula was developed for scalp use. When used in an appropriate amount, it is designed not to leave a heavy or intensely oily feel. Using more product than necessary can create heaviness at the roots.
Can I use this serum every day?
It can be used regularly according to your scalp's needs. If you are using it for the first time, you can start less frequently and increase use while observing how your scalp responds.
Will Mirissa serum completely stop hair fall?
